Orange County Republican officials are planning for an opportunity for Orange County voters to meet their slate of candidates on Oct.15 at the French Lick Senior Citizens in French Lick In. The event will begin at 6:00pm, with hot dogs, light snacks and refreshments served free of charge. A short program will take place at 7:00pm. Attending will be either the candidate or representatives of Governor Candidate Mike Pence, Lt. Governor Candidate Sue Ellspermann, 9th District Congressman Todd Young, U.S. Senate Candidate Richard Mourdock, Indiana District #73 Representative Steve Davisson, Indiana District #74 Candidate Lloyd Arnold, and Attorney General Greg Zoeller. Local candidates invited to attend include Beth Jones for Circuit Court Clerk, Donna Atchison for Auditor, Sandy Hill for Treasurer, Terry Nicholson for Recorder, Aaron Kemple for Coroner, Don Crockett for Commissioner District 2, Thomas A. Lamb for Commissioner District 3, and Greg Farlow, John F. Noblitt and Alan Waynick, all for County Council at Large. All candidates present will have a separate table and will welcome the opportunity to talk with voters and answer any questions. They will have brochures, literature, bumper stickers and signs for voters to take home with them. Party officials urge all voters to come and meet those seeking to represent you at the various levels of government.
