Gov. Mike Pence announces 2,100 new jobs for Hoosiers

Sixteen companies plan to create 2,153 jobs in Indiana over the next several years, Gov. Mike Pence announced Thursday.

The announcement brings the number of companies committing jobs to the state in exchange for incentives to 285, which breaks last year's record of 261, Pence said during a news conference with company executives at the Statehouse.

The companies expect to invest $4.38 billion in their Indiana operations and create 25,317 jobs over the next five years.
