Lessons from one year on the campaign trail

Approximately one year ago — Oct. 14, 2013 — I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I decided to run for the office of Indiana Treasurer of State.

In that one amazing year, I estimate I’ve attended 300 events in almost all 92 counties. I’ve learned a lot about the people of Indiana, and I’d like to share a few of those lessons with you.
